Best line with AJo facing an UTG raise?
Villian is 24/17/2.5, have seen him open 44 UTG so small pocket pairs are possibilities.
Pokerstove says I have 52.7% equity vs his opening range, but presumably it'll be tighter UTG so it's probably even more marginal. Obviously with his 4bet I'm getting out, but would a call to see the flop instead of 3betting him be better? more involved than stove. people left to act, playability of AJo postflop, etc.

Re: Best line with AJo facing an UTG raise?
Even if AJo is 50%+ hot and cold, vs a TAG UTG raiser it's going to play bad postflop. True, you have position here, but the reverse implied odds can really sink you. Fold to the first raise.

i don't think is bad to 3-bet AJ in position from time to time

Re: Best line with AJo facing an UTG raise?
I almost always fold AJ facing a utg raise from a reasonable opponent. If I am on the button it might be a different story depending on different things, but if the CO and BTN are still left behind me, I give up rather quickly.

The best line is to fold here, I hate AJ especially against a tightish UTG raise, calling is bad, raising is also bad.
