Re: What is villain telling me he has? [NTRL]
3betting smaller with a hand like 88 here is a bad idea, 240 is most definitely a very appropriate size. Villain isnt telling you much about his hand, most players at this level will call 3bets pretty wide (not to mention a small one) your ahead of his range so call and he can definitely bluff any of his holdings postflop here.

Call. He's either bluffing or overvaluing a small pair pretty often.

On the flop you are definitely ahead of his pushing range here, especially since he showed he is pretty loose. CALLL.

Easy easy call. I am guessing he has something like A6 and you are way ahead of his range.

Re: What is villain telling me he has? [NTRL]
I'd call.. putting him on some 6's and a bunch of Ax's.. might see some 9's and the occassional overpair but it's definately a +EV call.

Re: What is villain telling me he has? [NTRL]
I also figured it would be +EV to call in this spot, so I did.
He showed me K9 for the curious people although it is irrelevant. Thanks for the replies everyone! |
