Re: 400NL - Sickest hand I\'ve played in a while
he's shown he likes to call, i'd just make a sizeable value bet on the river, $180 or so.

Re: 400NL - Sickest hand I\'ve played in a while
I think it's a definite fold on the river as played. I dont mind the bet/fold he has shown he likes calling like fionn said and it was a good sized vb he might call light.
Although I prefer cbet the flop, 36/23 he just isn't going to have much and he already called you down once and you had it so he is hopefully giving you more respect. |

Re: 400NL - Sickest hand I\'ve played in a while
I'm not certain you would post this hand had you not won it. Anyway, I don't fully understand not betting THIS flop. Imagine how big his range is pf and keep in mind that there is a boat load of it that just won't call.
Given villain didn't bet flop, I really like c/c on THIS turn. If I c/c the turn, I c/c the river as well. As played, c/c or normal value bet is fine. As played, I think you kind of have to call given your bizarre bet size. I wouldn't like it though. Certainly is a weird spot though. |
