200NL: KK river decision
Opponent his purrrNL who is 21/18/6.5 over 113 hands but he was like 27/22 at the time of this hand. We didn't play any interesting pots together but there were a few 3bets pre. I was like 24/22 or something at this table.

This is completely standard if you think you are ahead. I'm not sure why you would think that, but you have to go with your read I guess.

Re: 200NL: KK river decision
I only see one hand I'm behind against. All the others would have pushed the turn. He had 77 this time but I think my hand is good here most of the time.

[/ QUOTE ] I would have put him on A7 or A2 suited (flat call ) considering that weak stab at the flop, check on the turn which meant he was probably scared of your flat call on the flop, and the push on the river should have told you enough to fold. |

Re: 200NL: KK river decision
I doubt he calls the 3bet w/ A7s or A2s all that often. And even when he does I think he will bluffshove this river extremley often with 77-JJ or KQ or whatever. At least I would.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, it's premium Aces you have to worry about (and there are more of those than premium pairs). But he has no particular reason to shove the turn, because you are unlikely to have any sort of draw. So like I said, it's read-dependent. |
