I don't know why I posted that, I agree with you. If I'm not willing to represent the king on the flop then I can't rightfully bet on the turn. By checking the hand, I'm giving up on the pot and so I should not bet unless my hand improves. My bad.

Good post, keep em coming. Since villan will call flop OP with a variety of hands and a draw on board I would 2nd barrel the turn. I see lots of players call the flop with a very wide range that they will give up on turn to a 2nd bet. By betting the turn you can get better hands to fold that would bet or call the river if you check the turn.

i would always cbet this flop, check turn, snap call the river bet, my only thought would be min raising river.

fine IMO,

flop check, fold turn has its merits, even though it will be tough with the gutterball.

id prolly checkflop and i think as played you could raise the river for value(justnot big)
