$100NL - FD gets there on turn, fold set?
I know this play looks weak so flame away.
I put the BB on a FD since he made a weak donk bet, I planned to get the money in on any safe turn card. The UTG player is a bad player, so I'm not that worried about him. Am I wrong to automatically put someone on a FD with this betting pattern? FWIW, I had the bet pot button clicked before I overcalled the flop bet. The turn raise by the UTG player put the nail in the coffin for me with the FD getting there. Re: $100NL - FD gets there on turn, fold set?
You put BB on a flush draw, so you.. just... called???
This is yikes. Calling on flop is criminal. Raise to $32, call a shove. If you get flatted, dark shove turn. |

Re: $100NL - FD gets there on turn, fold set?
With 2 other people in the pot, I'm raising flop pretty big (I like Cheese's PSB) and calling a shove. With two people in here, it's a good chance one of them is drawing. Turn is awful as it completes straights as well as flushes. I'd probably fold and be mad at myself for not playing flop more aggressively.

You already can guess my answer..... but here goes anyhow.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL LL79, Drawy board, play for the immediate win. Check/calling the flop is criminal. Even if it's a rainbow flop, you STILL have to punch the flop. BTW, I like the idea of check raising this flop against two. You can really set the FD chasers back on their heels with a good c/r here. (Just don't FORGET to do the RAISE part!!!) |
