Re: Heroes Love/Hate Fest 11/5/7

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] One key thing I haven't seen mentioned is that when someone warps to the future, it is the future as it would be if they ceased to exist at the time of the warp. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. That's also why Hiro and Future Hiro never met. [/ QUOTE ] Except when they did meet in Five Years Gone last season. [/ QUOTE ] He was being sarcastic. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Adam can't really be killed if he has his powers, after all. [/ QUOTE ]I dunno. If we assume his powers work like Claire's (and therefore Peter's), then if there was something stuck in his brain, he wouldn't be able to regen. I'd think that means if the company diced Adam's brain (or if Sylar removed it) then Adam would die. [/ QUOTE ] Not only that, but there was some strong foreshadowing that beheading would do the trick. |

Re: Heroes Love/Hate Fest 11/5/7
The reason they don't have big fight scenes is b/c they are way too difficult to manage given how friggin complex the shooting of this show already must be. It's really frustrating, but I'm sure they want to put in big fight scenes. If they come out with a movie then they'd get to go crazy-go-nuts.
Oh, and obv the show is simply too complex, there are too many superfluous characters and weird stuff that happens that isn't cool or necessary. AND there are tons of dumb/unrealistic decisions the characters make that likely could be rewritten better. With all that being said, the show is still more compelling than almost everything else on TV, has a very different/unique feel, and is still 1000x better than Lost season 2. Yugoslav |

Yugo,
Lost Season 2 is much better, just because you quit halfway through and didn't see the ending which was awesome doesn't mean it sucked. |

Good interview where creator admits this season sucks:
some excerpts [ QUOTE ] Hiro's (Masi Oka) time-bending adventure in 17th-century Japan — where he mentored samurai hero Takezo Kensei (David Anders) — finally came to an end on Nov. 5. But Kring says it ''should have [lasted] three episodes. We didn't give the audience enough story to justify the time we allotted it.'' YOUNG LOVE STINKS Kring regrets sticking Claire (Hayden Panettiere) with a super-dud boyfriend and forcing Hiro to moon over a cutesy princess. ''I've seen more convincing romances on TV,'' he admits. ''In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us.'' [/ QUOTE ] |

I've enjoyed this season, but I sure would love to see those changes take place. It sounds like the show (while still good) should return to the level of season one before too long. |
