After the hand he is calling the other guy names. He is no reg, at least not one I know off. He doesn't seem too good. He called the turn fairly quickly FWIW. |

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
Bet flop? Other than that it doesn't look like there's any problems. His line fits a club draw, A7, A6 pretty well. It also fits some K's though. Not much you can do.

seems like he either has a missed FD or 66 .. maybe rarely a K..pretty standard call i think

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
Bet more on the turn, you get just a bit more value and he probably calls with the same frequency. It also makes it easier to fold if he raises. I'm not sure if I like the river... but i think it is close overall.

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
I'd go ahead and cbet that pot, especially since it's heads up and your oop. I agree with Hince of betting a little more on the turn, and after the bet on the river, I'm definitely calling down.

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
Like any flop here with only one overcard against an unknown dont be shy put some money out on the flop, especially a flop such as above with no real draws, you'll either take down the hand (which isn't so bad small i know) or you'll have more of an idea where u stand.. dont be scared

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
Reason I checked the flop was that I felt there was a big chance that he would try to take it away from me. He just lost a stack, and was clearly not happy about it. I didn't really want to play a big pot here OOP. Also, there are no real draws to protect against.
Against an unknown I c-bet this most of the time though. |

Re: Riverspot...valuebet gets raised..[200NL]
I think you played this very well. I might make it $11 on the turn, but meh, splitting hairs. The river I call w/o a doubt. This is either 66 or air/missed draw here.
