$16 mucking QQ first hand
Hey. Villain is unknown. Raise utg/shove over my re-raise looks pretty damn strong. Can I fold here?

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
Against an unknown you have to get it in here. You've already committed 20% of your stack after the 3bet.

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
Against an unknown i think you are pot-committed although not necessarily ahead.
About 2100 in the pot already, and 1200 for you to call. I think your equity here is enough to call with these odds. |

I call here and I'm very happy about it.

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
A good 2p2er is much closer. He likely knows you are a tight player, and that you are not reraising light here at all. I don't know your exact reraising range, but maybe its like JJ-AA and AK, and he still popped you all in. His range is essentially QQ-AA and AK.

His range is probably QQ-AA and AK, but with the AK underrepresented. I think this is a fold. |

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
Why 3-bet if you're not going to call a shove?
When I'm not sure if I want to play for my whole stack vs. UTG raiser I flat call and see what he does with his betting. |

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
ITs super fast call.
If it had been another person with no chips in the hand that you knew was SUPER tight level one i would at least think about it. AS it was raiser that pushed its instant call. (edit) ive seen countless times a tight player pop often with AK here in that situation and your 16 tabling 16s for gods sake gamboool |

Re: $16 mucking QQ first hand
lol I was actually only 9 tabling (was kinda tired and didn't want to overexert myself by playing 12)...
I am thinking an avg player's reshove range here is like AQs (maybe since BB flatted he shoves wider than normal), AK, JJ+. Maybe I overthought this one b/c a few days ago there was a post about mucking QQ early. JJ is a fold in this spot if re-raised to 300 pre? |
