Re: 200nl: combo draw
I like it....
I think worst case scenario you are 50-50 except if SB was planning to check raise a set. Folding equity is big so I like the shove |

Re: 200nl: combo draw
let me start of by saying this is the exact play i would make in the same spot but heres my one thought, how are u playing a set in this situation verse a pot bet, against an unknown this question doesnt really matter but against regulars they will see this line as a draw hand a lot and if u flat with big hands here then when u do a lot of smart openents will shut down, so i love this shove but u have to make the same shove with a monster once in a while (especially against aggressive regs who will see this as a draw a lot and snap call u with JJ+)

Re: 200nl: combo draw
There's no difference between raising to $100 and raising to $200. Raise to whatever you would raise to with a set.

Re: 200nl: combo draw
I sort of think that a pot sized raise is scarier. But maybe that's just me. Anything folding to a shove is also folding to a pot-sized raise. In then end, you may fold out a couple of more hands with the pot sized raise. Either way, big raise, get the money in the middle. Draw well.

Re: 200nl: combo draw
I'd probably raise to like $110 because I don't shove a set here.
If you shove a set this is fine. |
