Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table

I have no point here. Just love silly stats. |

Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table
A lady out at Red Rock checked behind on the river and turned over the Floosh Royale.
I said: "Ma'am, at what point did you think your hand was no good?" I couldn't help myself. |

[ QUOTE ]
Noone ever reraised me, and this guy called me all the way down with KJ and then berated me for betting on the end because "The only hand that calls is one that beats you." Guess he failed to notice that he did call me with second pair. Not the worst I ever heard, [/ QUOTE ] No not the worst, but possibly the most ironic so far. |

Donk: I've been waiting all day to trap you. Me: GJ you're awesome at winning coinflips. Donk: LOL! I was a 55-45 favorite man. Me: Big deal, 55-45 might as well be 50-50. Donk: Haha, I'm laughing because you think 55-45 is the same as a 50-50. [/ QUOTE ] LOL at Trapaments. |

2/4 Table...
River was checked to me, 4 handed, everyone missed their draws, me included. I fired with 9 high and everyone folded. I flipped over my busted straight. Older guy across the table: "That's how these kids play today. They bet when they think everyone else has nothing. |

Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table
A woman this weekend played almost every hand and stated that it wasn't the hole cards that mattered, it was the flop. She said this constantly and reiterated that any two cards were good cards until the flop. She also said Hold 'Em was 80% luck and 20% skill.
