This looks good, but I would value bet the river.

I'll often wait for the turn to raise here, your opponent will barrel his entire range on a board like this. As played I value bet the river.

wtf??????????
bet the river rest of its pretty standard, although I often wait to the turn to raise this unless I have a read on villains spazzyness. (some villains will spazz flops but not turns) |

Value bet the river. The few draws that got there on the river are offset by the plethora of 7s and 6s you're still ahead of.

Re: Wait, so, how do you play SB vs BB?
the main point here is understanding why you would raise the turn but not bet the river. if you'd raise the turn you think worse hands are in his range. this doesn't make too much sense if you'd check the river, except that this turn isn't a 100% blank (T9 and the like). if it were that close (ie. you dont know if T9 or whatever is in his range) i would opt to call the turn and river.

Re: Wait, so, how do you play SB vs BB?
I dunno, I thought maybe 85/98/86 type hands were in his range, which caught up on the river, plus he also may have had me beat on the turn with A7/88/99/TT but was scared of a 2. But in case he was behind on the turn I thought maybe a FSD raise was a decent idea. I was probably wrong.
I think the right play was either to VB the river like everyone else said, or do like miles said and call turn/call river. Results: he had 99 and made me feel like a LAGtard. |
