i dont like country music but i guess i can support anyone who puts on a good live show. i dont care how good a person sounds on a record, if they aren't good live, they're not worth listening to. most people hate country music for obvious reasons but if you like it and saw a good performer perform the music that you like....brag for you, i reckon.

He said at the show that these 9 were it for now, but once his daughters are raised he will be going back on tour. I believe the youngest was 11, so that would make for a pretty old Garth.

hard to say, as KUjustin said. he's so into raising his daughters that he flies back to Stillwater after every show so he can get his daughters off to school the next day and then flies back to KC to do the show.

if you want to watch one of these shows, i know the last one is being televised live at various locations, such as movie theatres for i believe $20.

And I don't generally hate on the musical tastes of others. However, when there are Garth Brooks threads that are filled with anything other than dismissive scorn, I weep for BBV4Life.

Country music in the last 15 or so years, also known as the Garth Brooks era, has been the worst abomination in the history of popular music. At work, I am subjected to this crap called "Country" every day. If I hear that "More Than a Memory" one more time, I will kill every Garth fan that I know. Starting with my sister.

This fat, bald, no talent assclown needs to disappear.
