Whenever I would lose a lot of money I'd grab a buck or two and just tear it apart. It would remind me that I don't need the money anyways, and just literally destroying it reminds me of what I'm doing every time I let variance get to my head.

Aren't there other ways of reminding you it's not about the money besides tearing it up?

OP: If you're going to play SNGs you have to be able to take 10-15 BI downswings without flinching. If you can't, and constantly fear them, your EV will suffer from lack of bubble aggression and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
