[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] hmm good game selection.. lets play cts heads up.. [/ QUOTE ] yea its great how he has no basis for his game selection, he just goes this is a good game and picks a random table and sits down [/ QUOTE ] And then turns TPTK into an overbet bluff. [/ QUOTE ] I dunno it was HU and u don't know the dynamic of the match [/ QUOTE ] He had 2 disconnected overs in an HU match on a drawy flop and peels to hit the turn, bet sizing was the only mistake. u guys are acting like this was full ring against a TAG. CTS can have any pair/draw there/AQ. |

Re: brad booth explains online poker
[ QUOTE ]
Older school players, wasn't BB a regular in the old 50/100 games on UB in the Mahatma days, and a pretty definite winner? [/ QUOTE ] I would imagine a lot of SSNL regs these days would have been able to beat the rake in the old 50/100 UB days. Hell, even FGators might have been a winner. [ QUOTE ] i love the minraise with 32h on the button at 3:11 game selection game selection game selection [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, i noticed it but being a HU game it isnt quite as odd as you'd imagine providing he is balancing his range - but it probably is a move that leads to a lot of polarisation, like he does it with 22-77, QQ+ and random crappy SCs. Stacking off w AK in that other hand is WAY worse for various reasons. |

I guess the board is drawy and CTS is know to be aggressive but doesn't BB say right after the bet that if he gets called he's in trouble? |

He seems flustered playing 2 tables, and unable to keep up [/ QUOTE ] I picked up on this also. He flopped the nuts on both tables and his head began to quite simply asplode, on camera. [ QUOTE ] I guess the board is drawy and CTS is know to be aggressive but doesn't BB say right after the bet that if he gets called he's in trouble? [/ QUOTE ] Yep. People who think this hand was played in the 'ok to good' range are morans. |

I like how he says you shouldn't have cola or chips around the computer, but then has a bunch of retarded Vista widgets all over his desktop and he doesn't know how to resize his tables.

Re: brad booth explains online poker
Check out his site:
http://www.yukonbrad.com/ here's a quote: Born and raised in Vancouver, Booth honed his unique playing style in the same sort of smoky, backroom games that poker legends such as Doyle Brunson and T.J. Cloutier once populated decades earlier in Texas. Unlike many of today’s younger breed of player, Booth, now 30, never read a poker book while learning the game, instead relying upon experience and an acute instinct for reading people and situations to achieve his success. |
