Re: BRAG: Lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks
congrats on the weight loss. Keep up the good work. Just remember, to maintain it, you still have to think healthy and eat healthy. Otherwise it's back to bitch teets and beer gut which all the ladies love obv.
On another note, I have no idea what the Metol diet is even after your explanation. I mean I think I kinda get it but the wording is terrible. Cutting out sugar/carbs intake, upping your protein intake so your body is forced to burn fat when converting energy. How is that different than the South Beach diet? |

Re: BRAG: Lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks
OP,
Just a FYI a lot of guys including myself did this in the army and what you're doing is basically and expensive version of Atkins. In short, it's somewhat unhealthy, most of the extreme weight loss people have is due to loss of water weight and muscle mass, and lastly just about everyone gains the weight back very rapidly. In principle, I agree with a lot of what those guys are pushing. Refined carbohydrates and sugars do make you fat. The Atkins diet has had many spin offs and it sounds like you're on one. Brother man, I swear, If you take a few supplements to help curb your appetite (this is one of the advantages to low-carb diets by the way), you can do a lot better if you stick to the general AMA recommendations for dieting and get exercise. First, it's healthy so you don't have to worry about your kidneys and whatnot. Second, and more importantly, by doing it the right your body really becomes awesome at burning fat. These restricted types of diets don't really do that for you, so the moment you let your guard down it comes back quickly. The best part is that you can still choose to avoid refined carbs and a lot of sugars as well - no one says you have to chow down on Wonder Bread and stuff like that which is [censored] horrible for you |

BRAG: 12 pounds in 9 days! With Graphs!
Doing South Beach - no carbs - lots of eggs, chicken and salad. BEAT: Lost a bunch and gained it back: VARIANCE: Sustainable? Would be 180 in 12 weeks! |

Re: BRAG: Lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks
Guys I went on a diet its real easy.
Ok so you can drink as much grapefruit juice as you want from 1-4 PM on days that start with a T or S. On other days from 1-4 you have to watch Country Music Television. Second, you HAVE TO MAKE SURE you get your B-glutamate-4 vitamins. These are crucial. Secondary are the Rhyldahamide-OH7 amino acids. You can buy these in the store or whatever. Finally, you have to spend 10 minutes a day hopping on 1 foot singing the hokey pokey. This works your trigluteal cortex as well as the pyraxidial and masigial muscle groups. |

20 more lbs to go? So 6 foot, 180 lbs while sustaining above average muscle mass? Doubtful... Very.

Re: BRAG: Lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks
I also have lost 30 lbs in 5 weeks. I had eye surgery, stopped power lifting and maintaining the bodybuilding diet, and dropped from 185 to 155. Now I'm just skinny with no muscle, it's pretty frickin horrible.
