How about adding a "five-pointer" from anywhere in the circle at midcourt.

Then, if a team was down by four with three seconds left, they would have to defend the MIDDLE of the court, then defend against a five-point shot.

All MTV style...

I like the idea... the intentional fouls are more of a problem... but to say that timeouts don't do as much harm as fouls so whatever is just dumb

It wouldn't have as great of an effect as you would think tho OP... but I do think it would be better

your analogies would have to make sense for them to be funny...

Couldn't the refs stop this by calling evey intentional time-saving foul a flagrant foul?

noone has just answered the guys question except me... what does your question have to do with timeouts, one thing at a time


and to your ridiculous idea... so then the end of the game is about trying to foul without making it look intentional... AWESOME

The only two people who liked your suggestions were onlinebeginner and ArnoldO.
