MGM Grand 2-5: Tilting Extreme Short Stack Straddles My Big Blind
This was the first time I encountered this scenario.
The UTG player (in seat 10) has just lost a big pot and is clearly annoyed. He has just $45 left and straddles my big blind for $10. As he pulls his cards in, he stops and says to the dealer "I won't even look". I watched him cap is cards with a chip without looking. The action folds to the Button who is a loose and weak player. It may have been his first time playing in a casino since he wasn't familiar with some aspects of live play (like chopping blinds). He called the $10. He has a stack of about $350 The Small Blind is a tight and predictable player. His betting actions should indicate the strength of his hand. He called and has about a $300 stack. I'm in the big blind and look at Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I have all players covered. How do you want to play this hand? |
