[ QUOTE ] This is stupid. Put the extra $100 on Black If you win, give them $100. If you lose, they got it back...they just didn't know. [/ QUOTE ] so basically just rip them off for slightly less than $50 instead of the whole $100? [/ QUOTE ] No, rip them off 100%. It's a freeroll for one coinflip. Make it happen. |

alright, spoke to the casino. Told them the situation and that I didnt realize until I went home and counted the money in my wallet. Told them I dont want the cashier getting in trouble, but I can only bring it back tomorrow. Luckily I remember the time I cashed out and which cage it was so they can tell at the end of the day by whichever of the 3 counts is off by 100. Gave them my name and address, told them id be by tomorrow and meet with a manager and take care of it. So well see what happens [/ QUOTE ] Good man. Jesus will be happy. |

If you're cool with pulling one over on the casino, I guess the next step is an actual heist.

[ QUOTE ] serious lol at going to give the hundred back just because some people on here said you did something wrong. i hope your just making up the going back part. [/ QUOTE ] i think ahnuld is a good guy and didn't realize that this sort of thing costs people their job. [/ QUOTE ] Whether or not that's true is still speculation, which would make the effort of going all the way back to the casino just to pay this back pretty ridiculous. Make them send you a [censored] limo, why should you go out of your way to return it? |

Re: Casino ships me extra hundo
[ QUOTE ]
The casino is owned and operated by the Société des casinos du Québec, which also has 2 other casinos in the province of Quebec. The société is a subsidiary of Loto-Québec, a public corporation of the government of Quebec which raises revenue by the means of lotteries, bingos and other games of chance. All of the profits go directly to the government of Quebec. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Casino [/ QUOTE ] Translation: the state creates a cartel/monopoly in a certain industry and screws everyone over by outlawing competition and forcing everyone to pay for these businesses whether they use them or not. The idea of giving money back to this maffia organization baffles me. Know your enemies. edit: it would be like giving money to Bill Frist that he has mistakingly given to you after he had stolen it from you in the first place. |

Re: Casino ships me extra hundo

this sort of thing costs people their job. [/ QUOTE ] WTF sort of country do you folks live in that allows the employer to hold employees financially responsible for a miscount? Here in Australia, it is illegal for employers to make those sort of rules. Someone paid a few dollars an hour is going to make a mistake, and that's a cost of business. The employee shouldn't be made liable to pay it back - otherwise it would be necessary to have credit checks on your employees who handle large amounts of money (since they'd be supposedly liable if they miscounted a few k or something) |
