white t shirts. socks, underwear
mostly white t shirts. not ones you rock solo, but one you wear under stuff. what are the best ones? i have tried a ton of brands (fotl, hanes, hanes premium etc, jockey) and they never hold up. the neck always gets all bent out of shape and stuff. plus the shirts dont seem to have a crisp look to them.
any good brands that are kind of under radar? |

Stafford from JC Penney are pretty good, more like a regular t-shirt than a flimsy undershirt.

Re: white t shirts. socks, underwear
as for socks i wear no shows usually, but some crew also. not as much of an issue as T shirts, which tilt me.
i dont wear dress socks ever, but if you have some good ones holla. |

i suppose white t shirt care is also an issue. i wash them with my socks and use bleach and reg detergent. they lose crisp white look after like one wash.

[/ QUOTE ] I remember hearing somewhere that using bleach makes sweat stains worse, so I googled it and so far only found one site to confirm this, the rest say to use bleach. here's what mrscleannw.com says: "Although it’s counterintuitive, chlorine bleach is one of the worst things you can use to treat perspiration stains, even on white cotton fabric. The chlorine in household bleach will react with the proteins in the perspiration and cause the remaining stain to darken even further. You thought the pale yellow stains gave you pause – just wait until your collar and underarms are almost mustard in color!" |
