[ QUOTE ]
I don't get screwed by Party's exchange rate when I withdraw in USD's. My last two withdrawals have cost me around $100 each time. [/ QUOTE ] OK I get that, but when you win money in a game you are winning USD off people and Party will have to convert that exta money to GBP at some point if your account is in GBP. So you still lose out on the bad exchange rate. |

[/ QUOTE ] No. I assume that whatever bad exchange rate I buy-in for at a particular table I get the same bad exchange rate when I leave the table so I lose nothing there. When I cash out to my bank account it's in GBP so there is no conversion required and hence no bad exchange rate. I maybe wrong here as I haven't made the switch yet but that's how I think it should work. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm still not sure, for example: I buy-in for £1000, which is converted to ~$2000, then I win and leave with $4000. This is converted back to £ at Party's rate again, but I'm losing out because I still face the bad exchange rate on the money I win. like I would if I kept my roll in $ |

yeah but, u get the reverse of the bad exchange rate when your buying in to the table? [/ QUOTE ] yes exactly. They could use a completely arbitrary exchange rate of 324424234 if they liked. All it does is change the relative stakes that you are playing - e.g. bad exchange rate = lower stakes than it should be. The key is that the exchange rate in and out is the same when going to/from tables. When cashing out, it's a bad exchange rate. |
