50NL - flopped trips facing resistance
Villain running at 60/25 over 100 hands, and his postflop aggression by street is at 8/3.7/7, so he's pretty damn aggressive postflop. I'd stacked him once already with 1010 against KK on an 10 high flop. Really tough spot and have no idea where I'm at. I'm mostly interested in the flop and turn play, but as played are you calling the river? Suggestions for better ways to play the flop and turn would be great.

Re: 50NL - flopped trips facing resistance
High variance spot for sure because i think you're behind often. However check calling the turn and then checking the river looks super weak. I think there's no way he'll put you on the 9 so i'd be callin. I think you'll see a bare Jack here more than enough to make it a pofitable call.

Re: 50NL - flopped trips facing resistance
versus some loose/bads I would fold this. Versus others I'd just go broke and call it a bad beat. It depends on your fish. Before I played any headsup I probably didn't think this way, and just went broke.

Re: 50NL - flopped trips facing resistance
1 - His range is huge and 3 nines are already accounted for = greater possibility of Jacks.
2 - His aggression = he would do this with jacks, but since he didn't raise you'd have to take out JT+ from his range. 3 - You underrepresented your hand (common to believe someone would not raise their trips on the flop). ...I'd call here Against this guy, I would've played it the same to get all in on river...his turn bet also seems weak and Jackish... |

Re: 50NL - flopped trips facing resistance
You shouldn't be thinking at any point of anything but getting all the money in against a villain like this. I CRAI turn, but 4-betting flop is probably fine, to be honest.
