I play Mississippi Studugi a few times a year. Best high hand and best badugi hand split the pot. We play it pot limit with $1 & $2 blinds, and large (`$1000) stacks. Interesting game and it has its devotees.

Years ago, I played a lot of big-bet 6-card stud variations, dealt (2)1, 1, 1, 1. These games were very popular and had the four betting rounds and the last card up that Zanetti advocates, so he might be on to something; although I've never understood his insistence on the importance of the last card being up.
