[ QUOTE ]
dave what did u expect to beat? very curious [/ QUOTE ] a better question is what hand are you representing when calling on the turn, and betting the river? top set? a straight? Aces up? probably not. |

Re: outplayed by dave , superuser call :)
?
Looks like a busted low draw to me, since you're getting the right pot odds on the turn for a quarter. I'd call river expecting to lose half the time to a six, but winning the other half. I think the more interesting question is why davebreal is calling preflop with AT98ss in the small blind to a reraise. Why do you do such a thing?? |

Re: outplayed by dave , superuser call :)
Not that tough a call. Like Dave says, what hand are you supposedly betting here that's consistent with the play to this point? A269? If you had an overpair to the board, you'd probably just check behind on the river. It just looks like a bluff.

Re: outplayed by dave , superuser call :)
Poker 101: Never bluff a donkey. Seriously he's getting better than 3 to 1 to call and like Garcia said it'a at least even money your bluffing a missed low. Easy call.

Yeah I'm confused on even playing A89T in the first place.
Goot call on the river though. |

Re: outplayed by dave , superuser call :)
ty for these response i was curious of the range for a call for beating a bluff in these conditions
seems that my bluff was not clever or made at the good time |

Re: outplayed by dave , superuser call :)
Question - If G wanted to represent A236, would a smaller suck bet have been a better choice, or merely given better odds to call him down?
Edit - Answered my own question. He checked the flop and flat called the river. This was a red light for any kind of river bluff here. Question 2: If he played it more aggro on the flop, could he have represented a 26 combination on the river? Why didn't he get aggro with the nut low draw? |
