NL200, straight on the river facing tricky bet
Early in the session, no reads on villain, I've already raised light out of position a few times.

Re: NL200, straight on the river facing tricky bet
I just call. If villain turned a FH I think he would try to check raise. He probably hit trips and doesn't even think about the possibility you hit a straight.

icky. i just call here. the flush filled up, the board was filled up. i dont think we will b good here all the time, but enuff of the time to breakeven on the call.
also, raise more PF if ur going to attack limpers (4+1 rule) |

If he was on a flush draw why would he lead the turn? OP has showed strenght th entire time so it's notlike he is going to push him off of a hand on a flush draw. |

Re: NL200, straight on the river facing tricky bet
i dont think too much strength has been showed yet. we small raised pf (3x in that spot is very small) and 1/2PSB CB.
villians hand looks a lot like TXhh |

Leading shows less strength than a check raise. |

Re: NL200, straight on the river facing tricky bet
i very much agree that CR > lead as far as strength portrayed in concerned.
however, i think ur standard villian just creamed his pants with this kind of hand (JThh-esque), and felt he needed to keep u in with his "sneaky" 1/2PSB. I just see this done with that kind of hand often. or...hes just blockin the turn OOP with a FD (which i also see often, esp ~1/2PSB). either way, hes banging away on a terrible river card, and a push/raise only gets us called by worse, and rly only worst he calls with is AT, which i think folds. (and altho i dont think villian is a numbnuts, i have to assume he can at least slightly read the board, and him leading on that card is a buttload of strength) |

Re: NL200, straight on the river facing tricky bet
Very good analysis. For the results: I called the river bet and villain showed Kh3h for a flush. I wasn't really expecting that, that turn bet had me rather think he had hit trip 10s.
