Re: Krystal Square Off IV
It's not a sure thing but betting that someone will eat 100 burgers at +500 odds just seems too good to be true.
Last year kobi did 97 and joey did 91. joey showed he's really improving as an eater on the 4th of july when he increased his dogs from 52 in '06 to 66 in '07. that is nearly a 30% increase, who's to say he hasn't also increased his burger capacity by 10% over the last year. |

Re: Krystal Square Off IV
What do y'all think about the "combined total of the top 3 finishers" at 249.5 line? It seems awfully low to me, considering that the top 3 qualifiers combined for 245. If we assume that their totals increase somewhat in the actual competition (which may not be accurate, given that I've never handicapped eating contests), 249.5 seems easily beatable. Especially if there is talk of both Chestnut and/or Bertoletti finishing in the 90s, in which case the third place person would need around 70. The third and fourth qualifiers finished with 73 and 69, respectively.
This is obviously not free money, but I can't find any reason not to bet the over. Oh well, it's only $60. |

Here are the only results I could find online. But it looks good for the o249.5 and the o100 bets:
1. Joey Chestnut, 103 Krystals 2. Bob Shoudt or Pat Bertoletti, 95 3. Pat Bertoletti or Bob Shoudt, 94 From: http://eatfeats.com/ |

Re: Krystal Square Off IV
i'm glad i don't keep records, because if i were to look at my lifetime results betting bodog props compared to, say, betting on basketball, i think i would be rather depressed.
