Re: The Official NBA Regular Season 07-08 Thread
This is a preseason thing. I'm watching this Celtics game get started right now and I was wondering...what does Lebron do pregame when he plays KG? Didn't he jack the chalk thing from KG? Or did KG jack it from somebody else? Bron Bron went up to give KG some pregame props and it really looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

KG is amazing.
The defensive intensity in the fourth quarter of a blowout preseason game makes me thrilled for the season. Oh ya he has a triple double too. |

tdarko, yeah, you'd really break my jaw if I told you stfu in real life? [/ QUOTE ] Considering how he reacts to random teen skateboarders in parking lots, I'd say there's a good chance you could provoke him into hitting you. Seriously, I only lurk SE occasionally, but even I can see you're a huge troll. tuq, Good news and bad news. The bad news is that Bill Simmons more or less has written off the Suns for winning it all. The good news is it seems he centered most of his arguments around gambling, and he's a huge square. Thoughts? |

Re: The Official NBA Regular Season 07-08 Thread
Agreed on the Celtics, saw much of the 2nd half and was very impressed.
RDH, I read that article thanks to your pointing it out. The biggest indiscretion I have is that he writes, verbatim "the Suns lost fairly convincingly to San Antonio" when he is the very same guy who used up multiple column space in late May thru July writing how jobbed the Suns got by the suspensions / Nash injury / Donaghy scandal (I actually think this was the least damaging of the three). Seeing as I was inclined to agree with him there I find it pretty annoying that merely three months post-Donaghy article he is contradicting himself and the Suns now lost "convincingly". But I guess it's a matter of whichever version can conveniently prove his argument. I thought the gambling part was only early in the article and then he did a good job of discussing the wisdom of Pat Riley and Bill Russell, among others. Via those guys he makes good points, but it's a 30,000 foot view that doesn't fully take into account the mentality of the Suns and Mavericks after falling short in painful fashion last year. In fact, he does a nice job of all but leaving the Mavericks out of the conversation entirely, as if the Spurs rose above all, when last season there were clearly three teams of nearly equal ability that probably would have won series from the others 4-6 out of ten times. Verdict: I enjoyed reading it but it's not to be taken seriously. |

I really don't get why Duncan's post game is considered boring. Maybe it's because I am a post player myself but I find it fantastic to watch how easy he makes it look. Now if we're talking boring... Shaq's (prime) hopstep-dunk move is boring to watch. [/ QUOTE ] YES! |

Artdogg, They are the only team I can't stand. Everyone else is cool. Oh and I forgot Crater Face their coach! Lol @ that fuckstick. [/ QUOTE ] LOL. I forgot to mention they have the best coach in the league. Not to mention that he's one of the more gangster coaches (edge given to Sloan and Avery) at the moment. |
