Re: 200bb bluff
Not a fan unless you have a feeling that he doesn't like folding immediately to raises, but it's probably not really bad. Some people hate to fold but then fold the follow-up almost every time, but most players will call off the river having called the turn if they have a decent hand that checked the flop for pot control. Nobody likes folding nice hands let's face it and he can probably talk himself into calling after he checked the flop.

[/ QUOTE ] Yah I think a lot of people when they check the flop with a mediocre hand like KQ in that spot go nuts calling cause they think they induced a bluff on later streets. (Which on this case i guess he did) |

Re: 200bb bluff
I think that the biggest problem here is that you are trying to represent one hand range, but your lines do not correspond to what you are trying to rerepesent. I don't see anyone playing sets, 2 pair, overpairs this way. If I was the villan, I would go off my reads here. There is a chance that I would lay it down on the flop or turn, but if there is any previous history of you being overly aggressive or getting caught bluffing, I would call this down as well expecting a busted straight draw or maybe JJ/1010 or similar PP. |
