KK line check
Villian is 30/18 over 50 hands. No real reads. I know I'm gonna get a lot of "if u call the turn u have to call the river" responses, but I never agree w/ those since the dynamics of the hand change on river dramatically.

Re: KK line check
I'm going to have to agree with call turn and fold river.
Although villain is a bit loose preflop with the calls, small pocket pairs fit into a large part of his range here. If I hit my set I would check into you being the preflop raiser who probably cbets a lot, and raise trying to get some more money in the pot. From there I would lead out for value on the rest of the streets, protecting my hand and getting value, so his line fits a set here. Other possible holdings is a mid PP but I think they would probably raise more on the turn, trying to take down the pot before an over card comes. X5 is always a possibility but I think a very small one, not to worried about the straight here. AQ fire on the turn? Don't think so, and would probably raise more on flop if on a steal. Just can't think of anything you beat, perhaps ahead of JJ but I'd have to fold. |

Re: KK line check
W/ the Q on the river I don't think anyone sane is pushing 77,88,99,TT,JJ, which is the only reason I called turn (along w/ QQ)
