Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
I shove here. Youre looking at overpairs alot, and possibly even 45 that doesnt think that his two pair just got counterfeited.

Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
ok well i obv agreed, i thought this was an easy shove, and i still think it is the correct play. Lately I have been getting stacked alot w/ AA everytime i get action so I just wanted to see what you guys all thought.

Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
You cant be results oriented about this because you will see many other hands you are ahead of doing this as well. Sucks this time, next time Im sure you will have the best hand.

Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
If you are me, you jam it and get called with a suited A2 who takes your 140BB to the bank on hitting a 2-outer. If you are a normal player, you jam and get called by a pair of 8s, leaving him just enough money to donk off steaming.

Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
WTF at first few posters advocating folding or even calling.
Shove, and its not close. If you disagree....well, at this level . . . you are just wrong . But for the sake of discussion, think about this: How many pairs 66 and above are possible for villain? How many pairs below are possible for villain? |

Re: AA deep, facing tough spot
AA 3bet pot , when u bet the turn you're commited so shove.
c/r AI on dry board w/o fdraw vs people that call with crappy hnds in 3bet pots is also another way. i've recently been thinking about how to play in 3bet pots vs donks that cal with all sorts of dominated speculative crap - and think bet flop shove turn is the way forward on these kinds of low raggish/drawy non-broadway flops. These kinds of villians will call the flop with any part of the board IMHO. |
