Re: Step on stars for the sunday million (poll inside)
Heres the reply I got, using the same email message.
------------------- Thank you for writing to us. The step system has been very popular. As such, it is likely that we will have cash step Sit & Go tournaments at some point in the future. Also, I have forwarded your email to management. I know that they will appreciate your suggestion. If you have any other suggestions please send them to us. Best Regards, Joseph PokerStars Support Team ----------------------------------- I didnt mention Cash Steps, but they would be cool. I would rather see Sunday Million Steps 1st EDIT: Getting the Sunday Million Steps doesnt look too promising. I really doubt we will see them |

Re: Step on stars for the sunday million (poll inside)
Not trying to be contrarian, as I'd probably play these STEPS too... but don't you think Stars would rather not have all their low-limit customers constantly bouncing around these STEPS every day/week? Wouldn't this possibly have a negative impact on their other games? I know if I was playing STEPS every week, with all the free replays, I'd likely have less time for cash games, regular tournaments, etc.

Re: Step on stars for the sunday million (poll inside)
I say get rid of the DS's and TS's. A format that wastes time in between rounds can't be as profitable (for stars) or popular as a step system. Steps are perfect for both casual online play and nitty grinders. DS's are a pain in the ass for everyone.
They should at least test it during the 530 sunday million, I'd play a bunch of those for sure. Edit: During the 530 weeks, the DS's often have overlays at the odd hours. Even more reason for stars to ditch DS's. |

I dont keep a really close eye on them but I have never seen one fill up. I think ditching the regular DS's and replacing them with the $8.80 6 max DS's would make a big difference. I wouldnt mind seeing all of the DS and TS ditched but I doubt they would do it. I would REALLY like to see steps to the million. I might cry if Stars gets them. Heck, I might cry if they dont get them. |

Re: Step on stars for the sunday million (poll inside)
I think cash steps would be great! I have written to pokerstars support a couple of times and they say they aren't considering them (this was awhile back).
They were fun in party... but I think the key is not to make them too long (as in too many steps). Just like the suggestion for the sunday million, a 3 step process would be best for cash too. When you have 5 or 6 steps, it has an initial allure to the low stakes player for hitting it big, but after a handful of attempts, mathematics dictate almost all will come up empty, and thus get frustrated. A shorter process makes the light at the end of the tunnel more attainable. Even 3 steps (at $5 buying) can give the low stakes guy a realistic shot of playing in a $50 SNG (or whatever a third step would be). Just my opinion. I think they should add the sunday million steps too. But cash steps excite me even more. So let's do that Bryan. |

I just wanted to pop and applaud you guys with this brainstorm. I'd love to help, but my creative juices haven't been flowing lately.
