Re: Double Barrel better than check raise?, $200 NL
I think if you're going to fire turn, you pretty much have to fire most rivers whether you hit or not. I mean yeah he's floating and stuff, but you guys are over-estimating the amount of times he has pure air here. He usually has some middish pair or 9x and isn't folding to a turn bet since the board hasn't really changed at all...in fact it just got better for him since nobody ever has quads obv.

Re: Double Barrel better than check raise?, $200 NL
against reed I'm prolly nbetting any club, any J, K, A and sometimes but not always spades.
Problem is if he gets to the river he often has an overpair and I hate hate hate trying to bluff him off an overpair cause he clings to them like his last dying breath. I'm betting the turn because his flop calling range /= his turn calling range or his turn betting range and to build a pot for the times that I hit because he clings to overpiars like his last dying breath. |

and sometimes but not always spades. [/ QUOTE ] I think I'm just about always firing a spade as well as a T ...but otherwise I agree w/ a lot of your post. Oh and for OP, what's your image like? |

Oh and for OP, what's your image like? [/ QUOTE ] Just sat so no image really. I also really don't have much history with this particular villain. |
