Default Tag\'s are open books

Villain is 22/17/2.8, I have a 20/15/4 image. We haven't tangled a bit, I don't think I've been caught bluffing in any big places so far. I think his hand is fairly face up by the river, hence my bet. Likes? He seems like a fairly standard tag, maybe one of us.

It's obv you have to bet the turn but I just check behind the riv, he's calling with any ace ( AJ is the probably the weakest ace he's 3betting you with ) and even KQhh or w/e weird hand he could have.

My thinking was he'd bet the turn most of the time with an ace after I check behind on the flop, also isn't AJ having a hard time calling this river?

i am assuming you think he has like 99/JJ? obviously a good bet if thats the case but hes not folding any ace in his range very often. Also, i think potting river gets more respect here

No it's not, he'd been 3-betting a decent amount though (not me in particular just at the table), and I have position and am in good shape against his range imo.

looks good to me. he has KK or JJ and hes always folding JJ 100% of the time. i think he folds KK at least 1/2 of the time here. your hand looks like AK/AQ/QQ

If you call 3-bets in this spot you'll need to occasionally do what shpanko is doing here to make it +EV.

I think you should be betting way more on the river. I know you're trying to make it look like a valuebet, but so many times straight-forward villains are just looking at calling $77 into a $117 instead of really evaluating your range. He's checking to induce here so make him induce something he's not willing to call.
