i never understood the love for RE4. i bought it cause the reviews were so good and thought it was terrible. the fact that you can't move and shoot at the same time is a deal-breaker for me. besides that, the controls were clunky and it just wasn't fun.
could someone who liked it explain the appeal? i really don't get it. (not trying to bash the game - i just really didn't find it fun, and my opinions tend to agree with most people's and most reviews)

also, OP, which other games do you have? are you looking for single player or multi-player? i assume single player because you mentioned metroid...
have you played zelda? guitar hero 3 comes out soon. mario strikers was a lot of fun the few times i played it with a friend.
