Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
Now we just have to get them to make the step tickets interchangeable. This will have basically 0 effect on how often either fires off I would guess.
What if someone has already won a PCA seat and would actually like to win a APPT seat instead of W$? |

Million Steps aren't planned at this time. Compared to big ticket events like the APPT, PCA, the WSOP, etc... the Sunday Million is quite inexpensive. Also, there are tons of ways to get to the Million; many hundreds of satellites run per week. All the best, Bryan S. Tournaments Administrator PokerStars Poker Room Management Team |

Bryan You essentially run a weaker version of the STEPS to the million and other tourneys with the Round 1 and Round 2 sats. Why not just remove those and turn them into a 3 or 4 STEP system? you already have the format setup with the Step 1-4 to the PCA. Only ask cuz its obv many if not a majority of people would prefer STEPS over DS etc |

Only ask cuz its obv many if not a majority of people would prefer STEPS over DS etc [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I don't play the DS. I sometimes play the 3r, 8r, and 11r sats when I want to play the mil. I'd be more inclined to play steps, but I am pretty happy with the turbo rebuys. And I agree with other posters asking that the steps tickets to the major events be interchangeable. I can understand that stars does not want to take anyone out of the PCA steps system, but as long as it is a stars sponsored event, the tickets should be interchangeable imo. |

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested
Is it even worth playing the 6As if you don't care about the money back for lower prizes? I just care about winning a seat and 3 in 18 sounds a lot better than 1 in 9, but I'm a tourney idiot, am I missing something?

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I just started playing these yesterday and have worked up to a Step 5. Does anyone have a recomendation as to when to play it? As in what time of day would have the softiest field etc. [/ QUOTE ] Did you start at step 1? How much are you in fo so far? I gave up on step 1's and am just buying in directly to the step 2's and using FPP's for step 2's. [/ QUOTE ] I started with 8 step 1s Then advanced in 4 I think. Then advanced in 2 of those and redid 1 step 2. Then advanced in 2 step 3s and lost 1 step 4 and had to redo another. I won that and that's where I stand. I think the Step 1s are so easy that it's worth playing. The play is so bad you could almost fold your way to top 2. [/ QUOTE ] I played a FPP one, expecting slightly better play because 500FPP earners at least have seen 500 flops, etc. Anyway, it was some bizarro game of way better than I expected players. I ended up winning thanks to a monster flip. |
