NLCASH 50NL - bluff or valuebet?
Stats don't say anything yet, this is the only reasonable pot we got in before;

Re: NLCASH 50NL - bluff or valuebet?
#1 fold flop.
#2 unless he's an idiot you don't beat a 2nd barrel, that's why raising turn > calling, but again folding is better. |

Re: NLCASH 50NL - bluff or valuebet?
#1; not standard i agree but I think it's good to float once in a while
#2; yeh he was an idiot should've mentioned in OP but his postflop play was pretty poor. It just seemed too much of a bluff to me for some reasons; I'm 95% sure he would've bet flop with a 9 or Q, or AA/KK. After I call the turn, wtf could he be valuebetting the river with? I think he would just c/c JJ/TT but then again, he wouldve bet those hands on the flop (I think he wasn't THAT retarted). I have to call 18.50 into 51.50 he has to bluffing <40% of the time to make this a good call. It's not hard to find a fold here but I think a call, given the read, would be slightly better here. I'd like to hear some more opinions though. |
