Re: 1 hand JJ
Personally i open for 3xBB.
As played at this level w stack sizes, fold the flop raise. Though its not a great play (from a value point of view) by villain to raise TP here, he does in fact have TP here a lot. Too early to be going broke with 2nd pair. |

Re: 1 hand JJ
keep being curious in these spots and see how profitable it is. unless you have a read here, calling villain down is pretty bad.
obviously villain can have more than TP here but you have to think what villains range is here to play this hand this way. i strongly believe you are behind villains range, so much so that you are not getting appropriate odds to call the flop bet (well i suppose thats debatable). not to mention you are OOP and likely going to get blasted on the turn or allow villain to take a free card to draw out on you on the river. |

Re: 1 hand JJ
you have to find a line in your play
you pet the flop which is right, you get a raise, which is bad - you are not likely to improve - 2 outs. so at this point you have to decide if you want to continue to play. if you think you are ahead raise all in - or alternatively call and push the turn yourself. if you think you are behind fold on the turn. if you just call, you commit yourself to the hand - so as played you have to call the turn. |

Re: 1 hand JJ
The blank on the turn changes nothing. Since you didn't fold the flop you shouldn't fold a blank turn getting about 3:1. I'd recommend to fold the flop.
