Sorry, not surprisingly I had that mixed up. USF is favored, as they should be.

Defense? Who needs defense? God that was exhausting. Watched game at my house w/ two diehard Nevada fans. You have to admit, lack of defense makes for a very entertaining game. My God, how do you give up 67 points and win??? [/ QUOTE ] 69-67, the game was the highest scoring game in D1 history. What a fun ending to a game, wish I watched the whole thing instead of that crummy NLCS/SNF games. |

Re: College Football Week 7
I can't see Rutgers beating USF this year. Teel looked awesome vs bad teams, terrible vs Maryland and Cincy, and very mediocre vs Syracuse. Ray Rice can't run because his OL is pretty mediocre and USF's speed is going to cause so much trouble for them.
This is an exciting week of football for me but I feel like that neither of my teams are gonna come through against better opponents. |

Re: College Football Week 7
RB Rafael Little out at least two more weeks for Kentucky. Tough break, but we beat UGA last year and LSU this year without him, and are super-deep at RB.

[/ QUOTE ] Any news on Alfonso Smith/Tony Dixon? [/ QUOTE ] Both banged up but expected to play last I heard. I'm a little concerned about Woodson - in the presser Brooks mentioned him having sore ribs from that last hit against LSU. If Woodson were to be out, a correct line would be UF -21. UK's backup QBs are awful. I don't know if Woodson is the Heisman winner, but he is without a doubt college football's MVP. UK is a 10-2 team with him and a 4-8 team without him. It's not that they're not deep all-around - it's just that their backup QB's are Notre Dame-like. |

Re: College Football Week 7
Hartline's not bad, but UF -21 would still be about right.
We'll have Little back by Miss. St. Don't know about Smith, but Locke has looked great, even without impressive numbers, the last few weeks. |
