Like the first second I opened it I glanced and swore she was going Counter.

Then it was clockwise the whole time. I couldn't understand how it would look Counter, then after reading these posts I went on and "tried" to see it Counter and now can.

But I know I'm Right-brained anyway, which is weird because I'm extremely logical. My profession is Architecture, which helps if you are good at both.

There are several other ways to check which you are. One is to fold your hands with the fingers all inter-locked. (like praying). You should naturally do it the same every time. If your left thumb is on top of your right thumb, you are Right Brained. If Right thumb over Left thumb, you are Left brained. Try doing it the other way, it feels weird and icky. lol.

Also, I believe there is a correlation in how you fold your arms. For years I folded right over left, then I made myself get used to folding left over right just for fun and now I usually do left over right.

EDIT: There is also an easy way to check if you are left-eye or right-eye dominant. Look up at a light on the ceiling and "frame" it in a triangle with your two hands. Make the triangle really tight. Now close each eye one at a time. When closing one eye, the image should "move" out of the frame. If it moves when you close your right eye, you are right eye dominant. If it moves when you close your left eye you are left.

ok, this is annoying me

I stared at it for minutes. Took a break, then stared at it some more

as much as I chanted to myself: "THIS DANCER IS ROTATING COUNTERCLOCKWISE" and concentrated as hard as I could, I couldn't see it. I think I need a visual clue. What is it that could actually be construed to be going counterclockwise?!

is this some sort of huge level?

stare at any single body part and everytghing is CLEARLY going clockwise.

I found that by looking at the feet, I can get my brain to see it spinning both clockwise, and counter-clockwise. Just look at the foot, and "see" it spinning clockwise. It's easy to picture because as one of the posters said, you can't tell by just looking at the foot which way it is spinning. It can be spinning either way. Then once you "see" her foot spinning that way, look at the rest of the body. That's how I did it anyway.

Yeah, TiK, this is eventually how I got it to switch.

This thread was tilting me for a while because the entire time, all I could see was counter-clockwise. I thought everyone here was insane, because no matter how hard I tried, all I saw I was counter. Then I got really upset because I thought I was a creative type -- I'm a writer, filmmaker, etc. -- but this page was telling me I'm only logical.

Finally I did what TiK suggested and forced myself to see the foot spin the other way, and now I can see why you guys might have seen the clockwise spin. But the clockwise spin still looks unnatural to me; whereas when I go back to counterclockwise, it feels much more graceful.

Also, that chick is kinda hot.
