I tried to get a $100 bonus for 1200 points playing mostly $11 sngs and NL50 and it took an impossibly long time. So frustrating. I did some math and found out that the time it took me to finish that $100 bonus, I would have been earning way more than $100 in RB at other sites with 30% RB. So I gave up the bonus with $60 of restricted bonus left to clear and never looked back. PP bonuses are pretty bad.

Agreed...unless it's one of those rare 4x or 6x PP bonuses. 12x bites, both my wife and I just got a $200 12x offer, and we're passing.

isn't this a bonus that gets deposited into your account immediately? Can't you just gamble with it at a higher limit?

Just play in the casino. You'll clear those points in no time.

How long to we get to clear the points after opting in for the bonus?

I see my $200 is not a deposit bonus but as the poster above said it is a cashout restricted bonus.

So knowing this:

Would the best bet to be to opt in, then play BJ at $100 a hand until I get to either $400 or lose the $200. And if I do get to $400, then didin't I just make $200 risk free $? (if I wasn't planning on playing 10,000 hands to clear it?)

Yep, you would still have a 200$ restricted from cashout, but you could cashout the extra 200$ you made. I had only a 100$ bonus, I put it all on red on roulette, it came out black oh well, I'll wait until the next one to try again.

Wait, I still am kind of confused.

Can someone help me with how the cashout restricted bonus works.

I have $1000 in my account now.

I opt in for the $200 bonus so now my account says $1200 but I can't cash out the $200 until I clear 2400 points.

So I go to BJ with $200 and lose it on 2 hands. So now I have $1000 again. But if I try to cashout my $1000 now, won't $200 of it be cashout restricted still?

Yes, it's exactly it. Once you opt in, you have 200$ restricted until you clear the points. So in your case, going to blackjack with 200$ is a bad idea.

In my case, I had 0$ balance in party, I cleared everything out because of their stupid new bonuses. So for me, if I doubled up, I can cash out the profit and leave the rest there, I don't care... But for you, actually, for everybody with a balance, it's really not a good idea to opt in until you are certain that you can clear all the points without losing the bonus. Because if you lose it all, then you have some of your own money locked up in there.
