Re: Can I get away from AQ here?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] He is what I call an "Any A-X" player, especially suited. [/ QUOTE ] If this is your read...why would u ever consider folding here? [/ QUOTE ] It was more of a point to give those an idea about the villian's playing ranges. The folding question has more to do with the math and the action, not nessicarily the villian's range (which is a factor as well, obv). |

I'm a huge math guy, but this hand has everything to do with your read on Villain. I agree with ERC, if this is what you've seen, you have to assume he'd do this with some aces you beat. (By the way, in his previous "lucky" hand he was 45% to win.) |

I always fold AQ on A high flops to players I disrespect who may very well be playing a weak ace in the classic "WTF, I don't know where I'm at, I bet 1/4th of the pot, oh noes he raised, WAIT, he can't have an Ace, A9 good, or whatever, I push back" style. I think that it's winning poker. Barry PS: Get real. No matter how you cut it, if you are going to C/R this flop, you need to get it in. Cut n' dry. You don't C/R in situations like this on favorable boards if you are afraid of going to the felt. |

Re: Can I get away from AQ here?
Also in the "lucky" hand he called a raise (minbet) and a reraise of pot (AKo) from the BB with A4s.......
Either way, I had out and couldn't get away from the hand the way I played it, obv. |
