Re: $225: TP + flush draw
I like the play. Another flush draw is unlikely to call because they're odds are poor and if they do call your pair and and the fact you have two of their outs makes you a favourite. You may be against a higher pocket pair or a set but this isn't that likely.

Meh on pushing your flipping or crushed depending on his skill and I dont think your getting folds here, if he's an ultradonk or with reads I think its good but readless meh just peel or fold. |

Re: $225: TP + flush draw
Darin, If this were a cash game, I would go for a check/raise or check/call depending on the action. I guess it applies here as well. The problem with betting upfront OOP is that
1. The pot goes heads-up almost immediately. If some one limped with a big hand, they are going to raise and get every one out. 2. You have no FE, once he raises. On the other hand, if you check/raise after the guy bets say 90, some one calls, it's a much more difficult decision for him to call. There's one guy behind, you might have a set or two pair very easily. You also have the option of calling and seeing a cheap turn with good odds. Finally, as played you should either push or fold. Calling is just bad. |

Re: $225: TP + flush draw
I don't like betting the flop.
Most of the times you end up winning 90 while I think check calling a possible 90 bet is in the long run. As played I don't think he will fold to your push so you are most probably behind...I think it's marginal and I would fold. |

Re: $225: TP + flush draw
i never really know how to play these. i honestly think all three options (cc, cr, lead-3bet) have merit which is why this is so tricky. i'm sorta leaning towards check/call...

2. You have no FE, once he raises. [/ QUOTE ] That is not true, lots of people will lay down a smallish overpair. As usual darin provides us with no reads though. Darin - name, stats? SS (it's ok with PS to check after the fact right?) How did he get his chips? If you can't see that stuff most of the time, then I think you're playing too many tables too win this high. |

Strawberrys is his name. Newer player. In game I have HUD stats but I usually don't have/take time to write them down but I will take your advice into consideration Suzzer.
