I mean we are not usually playing QJo from BB agaisnt an early raiser and a caller, no? But BB range is much wider here, so it's good? What would be a typical range here? Flop(3 players 6sb): T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] What's the plan? |

Re: QJo from SB in color
Don't you like a little colors? Anyway how does donking sound here? It's a leading question, but in general I feel I don't donk enough. Thoughts?

Re: QJo from SB in color
I don't know about the second call preflop but assuming it is OK:
It appears to me we will have drawing odds, with 8 good outs and a back door flush draw, to call the flop whether it is one or two back to us. So I check/call the flop. We should also have odds to call the turn UI unless we face 2 bets. In any case I call here as long as I have favorable pot odds to draw. |

Re: QJo from SB in color
I am in favour of check/calling on the flop, although I dont think that I would call 2 bets.

Re: QJo from SB in color
8-handed you say?
The BB is usually going to have a big hand so I'd usually just check/call the flop for one bet. But if UTG raises you have to make it 3 bets. I'm not that big on leading. |

if UTG raises you have to make it 3 bets. [/ QUOTE ] Shillx, could you please explain this further ? I would have thought that if BB bet and UTG raised that you were almost definitely behind, and not getting sufficient odds to continue. Do you consider that it would be unlikely for either BB or UTG to have a flush draw if there was a bet and raise to you ? |
