Borgata 10/20 O8/Stud 8 ?
I'm thinking of giving this game a shot, anyone ever play it before ?
Does it go every day ? Would $400 be enough to start with (20 X BB) ? |

I wish I didn't. The whole table is full of regulars, full of nits, full of non-fun people. Sometimes on the weekends there will be a must-move table, and that can get good, but once you move to the main game, ugh. |

Re: Borgata 10/20 O8/Stud 8 ?
The play isn't expert, but it isn't totally fishy either, and the game goes extremely slowly. This week there were arguments coming from the table all day. I will play a little while waiting for a holdem table, but it goes too slowly to make much money at.
It does go pretty much every day, and a usual buy in is a full rack of $500, but $400 would certainly be fine. |

Re: Borgata 10/20 O8/Stud 8 ?
I have played few session when I went during the borgata poker open. The avg. was 50 y o. Some of them know the games, some others think that in omaha hi low KK92 is as good as KK in hold'em.
it could be very slow sometimes, when they triple check their cards on river to be sure that they don't fold an unseen flush or whatever. - jpp |
