Re: HUDbotting
It generally means playing 12 or more tables simultaneously and using a Head Up Display to track your opponents tendencies.
Some people think its cheating. Many poker sites do not. |

Re: HUDbotting
ah. Not guilty then.
So, one of your 12 tables pops up and all you know about the oponenants in the pot is what your HUD tells you? And your not aware of the full awfulness of their play? |

Re: HUDbotting
the full awfulness of most people's play is obvious with or without a HUD
The general theory of massive multitabling: if you make 2 BB/100 playing two tables, and 1.5 BB/100 playing three - its more beneficial to play 3 because the increased number of hands makes up for the slight EV lost per hand. Some people (RainKhan) can play insane numbers of tables. Some people can't. It is one of those things where you need to figure out your comfort level. |

Re: HUDbotting
i was thinking it was relying on the HUD for the majority of decisions. It just seemed a strange term.
Maybe im tired i dont multi table so im unfamiliar with how someone 12 (or even 2) tabling approaches anything. I guess now im thinking your average multi-tabler has a quick look at his opponents HUD stats, makes his play based on what he sees, and is gone before the hand plays out(assuming he decides to fold) I understand theres alot of info in the HUD that would enable you to see the awfulness of someones play but i also see how someone HUDbotting would miss potentially vital info as well. Which is, i think, the point the guy in the linked thread must have been making. Do i sound like i`ve got that right? lol |
