meh, pretty obv that you're repping an overpair, no? If I checked the turn with an overpair I'd go for the river c/r most of the time instead of leading the river. However, I do think 3 barreling works better, but don't think this either really good or really bad.

So, considering that you can't win at showdown and you get called 90% of the time here, what are we trying to do? Stick win-every-pot-syndrome in the muck and simply fold the river.

[/ QUOTE ] you call here with 89? 66? 99? no way he gets called here anything near 90% of the time. I'd bet its more like 50-65%. |

Why would an overpair play like this? I see nothing that screams overpair to me.

I definitely do, sometimes with the intention of a c/c and other times with the intention of a crai. I think you're missing some value if you always lead the river with an overpair if you check this turn. c/r on the river is definitely my plan if I checked the turn with KK or AA. |

this bluff attempt seems really ugly [/ QUOTE ] so all of you are calling the numerous midpair hands that you bet on the river against this c/r? |
