Then my grades began slipping as well. Last month I played like 80k hands of 2/4nl, and was able to do fairly well on my exams. When I was playing higher, I would waste a lot of time reading 2p2, and consumed much more time thinking and studying about poker. It is a huge accomplishment IMO if you are able to see 50k+ hands a month of 3/6nl+ (semi decent winrate) and maintain a B or higher average in college (assuming a nonbullshit major). Anhnulds post kind of depressed me when he said, choosing the in between path of college and poker is stupid. Yet, it does have a lot of truth to it. If you are failing your classes and your GPA is looking ugly just drop out.
