Default Re: Loose-Passive-Aggressive style in 6-max

You can definitey win money playing 40/0 at 100NL if you have sound table selection and good postflop skills. I mean, postflop matters sooooo much more than preflop play.

Also, plenty of multi-tablers don't take the time to make solid reads/adjustments, so they'll just see a 40/0 and peg you a station and be reluctant to bluff you or fire 2 barrels or such, allowing you to float the crap out of them.

That's just one example, but sure, there are ways you can get this style to work - albeit less profitably than playing a "normal" 22/18. The real question is, why would you want to?

BigBiceps,
very impressive

I know you have enough experience that you can rape postflop

the benefit is that you will frustrate many, many regs

am I to assume the only PFRs are 3-bets after someone else raises?

FWIW, I think you called too many raises from the big blind at .5/1

I think you could win playing that style. Maybe not as much as you did over this sample, but you could win. Postflop is where the magic is at with medium to deep stacks.

I might do this some time for giggles

The 2 preflop raises in NL50 were reraises with AA. Once when there was an allin raise with 3 callers, and I pushed. The other was heads-up when I limped in the small blind and the big blind kept raising me so I pushed. I can't remember what the 3rd raise was it might have been a misclick.

In the NL100 the 6 preflop raises were in my last hand on each table before I quit. I thought people would give me some credit for not raising the entire session. Unfortunately I still got no credit for having a hand... Silly players.

It was very fun playing like this, gave me a break from my normal game.
