not bad for starting with 100$ at 5NL the 1st of january 2007 and working 40 hours/week. [/ QUOTE ] Very nice. Seriously, I have no idea how this is possible. And yeah, a bit jealous, as well. [ QUOTE ] So, my question is what is a good VPIP to shoot for when selecting tables, and is it that big of a deal in uNL? [/ QUOTE ] I personally prefer the higher numbers but avg. pot is equally important to me. Although I prefer the smallest avg. pot I can find. You might want to give this a quick look. |

Just look for the highest pot and find the biggest players to flop between those. [/ QUOTE ] This is how I select at first, then I look around for the next ten mins before settling with 4-6 good tables |

30+ People are still very spewy post flop with good preflop stats at uNL. Don't worry about it too much. I personally look for # of hands as a good indicator. Lower the better. [/ QUOTE ] That's a good thought, I never really did consider the # of hands/hour as an indicator of a fishy table, but now that I think about it, it almost makes more sense then using AVG players to flop or pot size AVG.. |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
meh. Sorry to do this, but has anyone seen this thread. Folding the river seems too weak-tight to me at 10NL, but there are a lot of scare cards there too:
2p2 Thread Ewwww.... I'm bringing it up here because this could be a huge leak for me. I usually don't fold my set against this guy, getting 3:1... |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
[ QUOTE ]
waittt whys # of hands good? [/ QUOTE ] My guess is more players in a hand, the longer it takes to finish a hand, thus you get less hands. A table full of tags will fold around relatively quickly generating a high number of hands/hr. |
