But had he pushed to play, giving up 6k of the deal money to secure 25k more than 2nd, with the 150k on the table, would have been OK, imho. I don't believe that either of these players have a HUGE edge on each other, so making the even chop (with 150k behind) would have been OK... OT |

That 5% rule is pretty dumb. 2 or 3% would still serve the purpose, and give the players more flexibility with a deal, no?
