The deal was pefectly fine for both. I was talking about the guy above me who thought an even split would be good for both.

Not much of a "deal" when you have to leave 150k on the table though. GL.

Being results oriented, obv it was a bad plan, as illusive folded.

But had he pushed to play, giving up 6k of the deal money to secure 25k more than 2nd, with the 150k on the table, would have been OK, imho.

I don't believe that either of these players have a HUGE edge on each other, so making the even chop (with 150k behind) would have been OK...

That 5% rule is pretty dumb. 2 or 3% would still serve the purpose, and give the players more flexibility with a deal, no?
